Welcome to Curigos. By using it, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 13 years old, and if you are under 16 you need your parent's or guardian's permission to use Curigos. Please keep your sign-in secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
What you write is yours. You allow us to store and display it as needed to run Curigos, including showing book details on the Curigos Tree as described in the Privacy Policy. Please do not post anything unlawful, infringing, or containing other people's personal information.
Please use Curigos in good faith: no attacking or overloading the service, bulk scraping, impersonation, or harassment. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.
Book details and cover images come from third-party sources and belong to their owners. We show them only to help you recognize your books.
Curigos is run on a voluntary basis by its developer, who hopes to make a positive contribution to society. We hope to grow the business and perhaps form a company in the future, but we may have to pause or end the service if we have no other choice. If that happens, we will let you know in advance by email and in the app, except where an accident involving the operator or a service failure prevents us from doing so. There are no in-app purchases, and there never will be.
We cannot promise that Curigos will always be available or free of errors, so for anything important, please keep your own copy.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of Curigos. This does not limit liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for our intentional or grossly negligent acts.
You can delete your account at any time on the Account screen. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.
We may update these terms and will change the date above; if you keep using Curigos, that means you accept the update. Japanese law governs these terms, and the Tokyo District Court has jurisdiction over disputes, without limiting any consumer rights you have under the law of your country.
